Cinnamon Rolls

Dry Ingredients:          

½ cup sugar                      
2 tsp. salt     
6 ½ cups flour

Wet Ingredients:
2 cups water
¼ cup soft shortening
2 pkgs. Active yeast
1 egg
Margarine 

Filling:
Margarine or Pam
Cinnamon
Nutmeg
Brown sugar

Mix all dray ingredients.  In large bowl dissolve warm water and yeast.  Add rest of wet ingredients.  Then add dry ingredients and mix with wooden spoon or your hands.  Refrigerate 1-2 hours.  In small bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg to taste.  Roll out dough into a large oval. Spread with butter or spray with Pam.  Sprinkle cinnamon mixture on dough.  Roll up lengthwise.  Cut and place on ungreased pan.  Cover and let rise for 35-40 mins.  Bake 25-30 mins. At 350°.
