Chinese Pork Chops

 

Ingredients:

1-2 lbs. boneless pork chops
Celery salt
Onion powder
Soy sauce
1 stalk celery (cut into 2 pieces)
1 onion (diced)
1 green pepper (sliced into strips)
2 cups water
Corn starch

Brown chops on both sides in oil.  Sprinkle with pepper, celery salt, onion powder, soy sauce on both sides.  Pour off grease.  Add water and more soy sauce.  Add celery, onions, and green peppers.  Simmer 1 hour on low heat.  Remove veggies and either serve separately or throw away.  Put chops on plate.  Bring juice to a boil (add more soy sauce and water if needed).  Make paste of corn starch and water (about 2 TBSP starch to 2 cups water). Add slowly to juice to make gravy.
