On October 15th and 16th, 2005 a bunch of us went on a group camp-out at
Mistletoe State Park. Here are some pix from one INCREDIBLE trip!
The group camping area was very large and could accommodate all our
individual ideas of camping comfort.
Some preferred tent platforms. Here are Corina and Katie in their
"condo" area.
Marion found his comfort next door.
The rest of us preferred being out in the woods. Here's a really cool
vine in front of Marilyn's and Barbara's tent.
Jerry created his own shelter!
Then there were those of us who eschewed even the idea of a shelter.
Ralph used a hammock hung underneath a rain poncho. He's actually
curled up in his hammock in this picture.
Like Ralph, I wasn't much into sleeping in a tent. A ground cover, a
sleeping bag and a mosquito netting...what more do you need?
